By downloading, installing, or using the Sage Tutor application ("Sage", "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Sage.
These terms are between you and DM Contracting & Consulting Inc. ("Company", "we", "us"), the operator of Sage Tutor.
Sage accounts may only be created by individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Children use Sage through accounts created and managed by their parents or legal guardians.
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to accept these terms and to create profiles for any children you add to the account.
Sage is an AI-powered educational tutoring application designed to support children's learning across subjects including Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. Sage uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized tutoring sessions, homework assistance, progress tracking, and parent reporting.
Sage is an AI tutoring tool and is not a replacement for qualified teachers, licensed educational professionals, or formal schooling. While we work hard to make Sage accurate and helpful:
Sage is offered on a subscription basis at $49.99 USD per month for a family account (all children under one parent account).
You agree not to use Sage to:
The Sage application, including its AI systems, user interface, branding, and educational content frameworks, is owned by DM Contracting & Consulting Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Session transcripts generated during your use of Sage remain your property. We retain a license to use anonymized, aggregated session data to improve the service.
Your use of Sage is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. We take children's privacy seriously and comply with applicable laws including COPPA and PIPEDA.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DM Contracting & Consulting Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Sage, including but not limited to educational outcomes, lost data, or service interruptions.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for Sage in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it within the app or contacting us.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Sage after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta.
